Two Carsons and One Avery

Carson Winn (CW) and Carson Beck (CB) have been enjoying the warmer weather the past few weeks. Ok, some of these pictures are from January but would you have known if I didn't tell you? The boys get together as often as possible. Enjoying the favorite wagon (they both have the same one).
CB has a new sister, Avery, who was born December 2. Yes, they are only 14 months apart and yes, Jennifer and Brad have their hands full, well, mostly Jen has her hands full! Here are a few pictures of CB and Avery, Jen and Avery at her "sip and see, " and me and Jen.
And finally, while we were in Cabo, my Mom, or "BB" as she's known these days was kind enough to stay with Carson and Maggie. It was a busy few days for her as she was in charge making sure Carson got to all his social engagements. CW met up with CB at a local park one especially warm afternoon. CB had been to school earlier in the day and they celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday by wearing pajamas to school. CW was so comfortable he even wore his pj's to the park. (I'm sure he was the talk of the park that day.) In the park picture below the boys are are 17 months old!

Hello from Cabo San Lucas Mexico!!!

Hello from Cabo San Lucas Mexico!!! Jason and I are on a reward/work trip for Sungard and this is our last full day here. We are cutting our trip short from our original plan to go home and see our Carson Bennett. The weather here has been perfect, very sunny and hot, about 95 each day which is just want you want when you are lounging by the pool and sipping tropical drinks.

We are in Mexico to celebrate Jason's very successful year with Sungard! This trip was the reward for a awesome 2005. The awards ceremony and dinner was Thursday night and Jason was honored for his contributions to Sungard and his huge percentage above his quota! He is very deserving of this recognition because he works so hard. I'm very proud of him.

This is definitely the side of Mexico to visit if you haven't done so....it's way better than Cancun. In fact, you don't even think you are in Mexico at all. We are staying at the Sheraton Hacienda del Mar and the link is http://www.sheratonloscabos.com/ in case you want to check it out.
We've had a great time with Jason's colleagues. We've had two massages each and yesterday we went whale watching. The whales were out there but didn't put on a show like they did for others that went the day before.

Cabo is where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean - here is the famous arch that I'm sure you've seen in pictures...it's spectacular up close. We really don't have too many other pictures to share as Sungard hired professional photographers who were everywhere taking pictures.

Super Bowl Sunday....seems like a good day for an update!

Today is a busy day in the Winn house. Jason is running around here all nervous because of the big game tonight. You'd think he was the owner of the team or has a big bet on the game the way he's acting. Actually, Jason has been a Steelers fan since the 70s. We all have on our Steelers gear, yes, even Maggie. I'm not going to post a new picture because we look very much like this.

Last Monday was Carson's surgery at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. He had tubes put in his ears and his adenoids removed. Hopefully both of these procedures will help elimate some of the sickness he's had the past 4 months. He actually did pretty well with the surgery. It took a little longer for him to come out of the anestesia than we anticipated but other than that he was a champ. Attached are two pictures before the procedures, one of him in the crib as they prepare him for surgery and one after he's had his "happy" juice playing with his Uncle Teddy.
And finally, after we arrived home, all Carson (and his daddy) wanted to do was take a nap!



Carson and his friend Carson Beck are getting so big. Here's a recent picture of the boys at almost 16 months old.




Carson's cousin, Makenna Bree Delk came to visit last month. Makenna is only 8 weeks younger than Carson so it's so fun to see the two cousins growing up together.
For Christmas Carson received a wagon from Big Daddy and Tine. Now this isn't just any old wagon, this is the Cadillac of wagons complete with two fold down seats, cup holders, and seat belts. January was an especially warm month for us with many days hovering around 60 degrees so Carson and Maggie have enjoyed being pulled around Westhaven.
